Introducing the new Coordinator of Youth Ministry!

Hello, parents and caregivers,

My name is Sarah Kwiecinski, and I am the new Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Ambrose Church.

I am delighted to be entering into parish ministry, and I look forward to forming a strong connection with the Holy Spirit school community and working alongside the staff to form the students in faith!

I will also be working closely with Fr. Gary Schlack, parish staff, and volunteers to build-up youth ministry programming at the church. Please keep your eye on Newswire for announcements of upcoming parish events and activities including a youth group for students in Grades 6 to 8, as well as Vacation Bible School this summer.

Please be assured of my prayers for all families and staff of Holy Spirit school!

I wish everyone a blessed Lenten season as we prepare ourselves to celebrate God’s great gift of love through His son’s death and joyful resurrection!

God Bless,

Sarah Kwiecinski

Coordinator of Youth Ministry, St. Ambrose Church

Nutrition for Learning donations accepted on SchoolCash Online

Our Holy Spirit students are supported by Nutrition for Learning, a community-based nutrition program that helps to ensure healthy snacks are universally accessible to all students in the Region of Waterloo.  Students have healthy snacks available within their classroom whenever they may need something extra. Items such as fresh fruit (apples & oranges), cereal, granola bars, apple sauce, crackers, yogurt tubes, and cheese strings are offered to students through this program.

Monies are being collected to help support the continuation of this program at our school. 100% of all funds raised will be applied to the purchasing and delivery of food for the program. If you are able to make a small donation of $2 or more, please do so on School CashOnline. Donations will be accepted online until Fri. Mar. 3rd

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Nutrition for Learning program. Your support means a great deal to all the students served.
