Holy Spirit Families:
As part of Ontario’s Anti-bullying strategy, our school has planned many events this week to support and foster the caring Catholic community that we are blessed to learn in. Today we had two Trick Soccer players with a powerful message about supporting one another and celebrating each individual as a unique person of value. In addition to this important reminder, the crew brought a lot of fun and excitement to our gymnasium today.
Tomorrow we continue our focus on reminding each person of the power they have to be a great friend and include everyone.
We are asking every member of our Holy Spirit community to wear pink on Tuesday.
This global tradition began in Nova Scotia and is celebrated several times throughout the year. In the elementary panel, we choose to have a Pink Shirt Day in November during our Anti-Bullying week. More information can be found in the link below.
Lastly, to coincide with our school’s receiving of the Pilgrimage Cross, we have moved our Advent Liturgy to Monday, December 4th. More details will follow, but we are very excited to celebrate our faith as a community during this very important liturgical season. All will be welcome to attend.
