Joy Day Tomorrow!

Holy Spirit Families:

We hope you have had a chance to see the Record this morning. Our community made the front page of the local section! It was a really well written article and we are grateful for the way our school community was recognized for our collective fundraising efforts.  A link to the article is below.

However, we cannot let the event pass without recognizing the true heroes of the day…our parent partners! Behind every strand of duct tape and each ounce of whipped cream was a parent council member making it happen. If you weren’t involved on parent council, then you were likely one of the many parents who supported the school by purchasing a treasures card. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Special thanks to Council members Ashley, Trish, Sheila, Michelle and Kim for making the event happen so smoothly! Also a special SHOUT OUT TO GARY who went above and beyond to setup and secure our staging.

JOY DAY DETAILS

Parents of intermediate students are invited to watch their children perform at this traditional event. We will forgo our opening exercises and begin the assembly shortly after 9:10AM. Parents are welcome to begin entering the gym at 9:10 AM when the school bell rings. The students have been working hard practicing and it will be a wonderful way to finish 2017 at our school.

There will be a visit from somebody special in a red suit later on in the day. The students will also be having their POM POM Next Level Movie reward in the afternoon. Special thanks to the Student Leadership team for providing some delicious treats as a thank you for everyone’s participation in the toy drive.

Turkey Lunch Was a Huge Success!

Nothing great ever happens without a FANTASTIC team. That was true today with all of our parent volunteers with our Turkey Lunch! It was a huge success and we are deeply grateful for the support you show in word and deed for our community. Please check out the pictures below to see some of the fun that took place!
